Alenka Vidic

Alenka Vidic started gaining work experience in the media field while studying Communication Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. She worked for the television channel Kanal A, where she helped create a new format of a TV show in 2001. The show, completely new to the Slovenian media space, was then hosted by Alenka for more than four years. In 2004, while pursuing her media career, she started working at Pristop, a communication and consulting company. She was responsible for implementing communications strategies for different clients. She continued her career at the agency PR Obrat. In February 2006, she co-founded Propiar agency, where she is now a public relations consultant and co-owner. Throughout the years she has been an active member of the Public Relations Society of Slovenia and as a member of its organizational committee, she has participated in planning and hosting several Slovenian public relations conferences. In addition, she has lectured at the international conference PR Week in Belgrade, and also to the students of the Student Section of the Public Relations Society of Slovenia. She is also a visiting lecturer of Public Appearance course at the PR Academy in Banja Luka. She is currently completing her master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics.
