After completing economic grammar school in Nova Gorica, Vanja Zizmond continued her studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, programme Media and Communication Studies. During her studies she started to gain working experiences at KGŠ, a student’s club in Nova Gorica, where she became an active member of the editorial board of a radio programme Radio KGŠ at the regional radio station Radio Robin. In 2007 she decided to improve her knowledge by meeting the challenge of the student exchange programme at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. The student exchange experience was a unique life-time experience that enriched her not only from the professional point of view but also from the social one. That year was extremely empowering for her personal development and at the same time she discovered the magic and potentials of cross-cultural dialogue and networking. When she returned in Ljubljana, the desire to deepen her managerial knowledge prompted her to enrol at the Faculty of Economics. After graduating at the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2009, she continued her educational process. Nowadays, she is a second-year student of Management at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and at the same time she is attending a postgraduate Master study course of Strategic Market Communication. She joined the Propiar team at the beginning of 2010 desiring to experience new PR challenges and to develop and attain her personal career. She spends her free time with fiends, enjoying in good company, but she also likes to explore foreign countries and different cultures.
